OBJECTIVE
Create a website answering the question of international student’s employment issues.
SOLUTION
After several job rejections that indicated my status as an international student as the reason of said rejection, I decided to create a website with infographics that shows the plight, facts and benefits of hiring international students. This website is designed to educate employers regarding the OPT program and the challenges international students face finding work even when they are eligible. The website also highlights how international students can be an asset to companies. This is the first project I get to experiment with Adobe XD.

OBJECTIVE
Create a campaign for a cause you care about
SOLUTION
The We Will Be OK campaign focuses on the stigmatization of depression in Asian cultures and aim to kill the taboo once and for all. We’re doing so in the art of storytelling. By opening up each other’s experiences it decreases the effect of the stigma of depression and introduces the people the truth behind the illness itself.
OBJECTIVE
Design the logo & branding for an education organization.
SOLUTION
Graceducation is an education agency that introduces international students from Indonesia the opportunity to study in the United States. The branding which I designed portrays their influential mission and vision. The yellow represents a bright future in which the company may provide prospective clients. The imagery shows a sleek modern design to represent innovative, creativity and the future of education.
OBJECTIVE
Create a video for the brand Beats
SOLUTION
Working together with classmate Rachel Lee we created a video that illustrates the insight of how music can bring you into a world that is completely yours and yours only. The music has become more than just what it was purposed for, it is also an experience.
OBJECTIVE
Create a visual that incorporates the action jump while keeping the work as vernacular and exaggerated as possible.
SOLUTION
The term jump though simple can be interpreted in many ways. In this specific exercise, I used the idea of jumping as a reaction. We often get frightened so bad we will physically jump. That is where the idea developed as I playfully take a picture of the word “Holy Sh*t”, a reactionary phrase most people are familiar with, while jumping excessively. The result was a dynamic and simple visual that portrays all the meaning I’ve intended.
OBJECTIVE
Create a campaign for the presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
SOLUTION
The issue with Bernie Sanders in this election is that a lot of millennials have supported Bernie's views on issues yet they are still unmotivated to actually follow through and vote. Working together with fellow classmates Justin Farlo and Rachel Lee, we created a campaign in which we use social media language and notifications to motivate millennials to follow through and support Bernie all the way to the voting booths.
OBJECTIVE
Create a print ad campaign for the Museum Macan.
SOLUTION
Museum Macan is Indonesia’s first ever contemporary art museum which not only has a collection of modern art, they also showcase traditional art from local artists as well. It is a space to celebrate the rich art history of Indonesia. To celebrate this milestone, I’ve created poster ads which symbolizes Museum Macan’s idea of the old and new combined into one space. Using existing artworks by local artists, the ad illustrates how art has always been an integral part of Indonesia’s culture of story-telling and community.
